Overview

Intel has a robust Game Development Program, helping game devs get the latest Intel resources, tools, and news. While they partner with the world's largest and most prestigious franchises they never have game-like artwork of their own to promote their program on their site, social channels, or even at large events. 

Intel tasked us to design a large-scale piece of custom character art for a fictitious game to be used for any and all promotional applications.

My Responsibilities:

  • Design and illustrate a custom character.

  • Create a finalized turnaround sheet.

  • Collaborate with a 3D artist to finalize the character model.

  • Use Substance Painter for the final 3D painting, texturing, and lighting

  • Illustrate a background.

  • Design various versions of the artwork for web, print, and social.

  • Rig and animate a seamless loop in After Effects.

This artwork was met with overwhelming success. It was used as the mascot for their program for just under 5 years!
